HOW TO DO’S FOR PERFUME

I never realized how much there was to know about fragrances. Besides the obvious taking a shower and all that jazz, wearing fragrances can help enhance your scent. Here are some tips and pointers on the do’s and don’ts for perfumes.

Do’s:
* Smell coffee beans between each perfume. It clears the scent palette.
* Give the perfume a few hours to develop.
* Keep it away from heat and direct sunlight because it can damage your fragrance.
* Store your fragrance in the fridge if it is extremely hot inside or outside.
* Spray on your skin and hair.
* Apply fragrance on your pulse points (behind the ears, the side of your throat, your wrists and even behind your knees).
* Apply before you put on your jewelry because if you don’t you can damage them.

Don’ts:
* Smell the perfume all at once. You are going to over whelm your nose.
* Spray it on your clothes.
* Over use your fragrance.  This goes both for guys and girls.
* Mash it together when you apply it on your wrist.

Facts:
* There are different levels to fragrance. Perfume is the most concentrated, Eau De Parfum is lighter and Cologne is the lightest.
* There are also essential oils, which are natural.
* All fragrances consist of top notes (lightest), middle notes and base notes (heaviest).
* Lots of notes go into making a beautiful fragrance.
* Just because a scent smells amazing on a friend, doesn’t mean it’s going to smell the same on you. It varies from person to person because of our own pheromones.

People should be able to smell your fragrance when they are close to you. If they smell you miles away, you used to much. So, good luck and have fun smelling nice J
